I appreciate your interest in my Qualified Supervision services. As a mental health professional working towards your LCSW or LMHC licensure in Florida, I can provide you with the support and guidance you need to become an independent clinical mental health professional.

My supervisory approach is developmental and growth-oriented, focusing on helping you develop your individual therapeutic orientation, style, professional identity, competence, and confidence. Throughout our supervisory relationship, I will teach, evaluate, support, challenge, consult, and provide limited counseling as it relates to your professional development.

I will help you develop your skills in various areas, including screening, evaluation, and assessment; case conceptualization; treatment planning; creating effective therapeutic relationships; counseling skills and therapeutic interventions; theory and applied knowledge; client education; clinical laws and ethics; professional standards and best practices; charting and record-keeping; professional identity development; and personal growth, insight, and self-awareness.

My supervisory style is structured, collaborative, and supportive. I encourage you to be proactive in your learning and use our supervision sessions effectively. I pay close attention to your progress and direct our focus towards areas where you may be experiencing challenges or blind spots.

While my supervisory approach is best suited for pre-licensed professionals with previous experience in mental health, medical, or human services fields, I am also able to work closely with recent graduates who have minimal clinical experience or professional exposure. I can collaborate with your agency supervisor to ensure you receive the necessary professional experience and clinical exposure for safe and sustainable independent practice.
